Texas Humane Heroes is a no-kill, private, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization established in 1979. They rescue dogs and cats from overcrowded shelters and found homes for over 1,700 pets in 2024. Leander Adoption Center offers adoptions and low-cost vet clinic services.
